We booked an urban art tour with João for our family and it was perfect. He picked us up at the hotel right on time and took us all over Lisbon to see the most important murals in the city’s urban art scene, explaining them and providing information about the artists so we could research them later. The tour was completely personalized, lasted two hours, and we could choose the departure time, what to visit, whether or not we wanted to get out of the tuk-tuk to take photos… Simply perfect.

Joao first toured us through Lisbon in 2019 when my family visited Lisbon. In two hours we could see an intimate view and hear stories of most of the historic neighborhoods of Lisbon. Joao is knowledgeable, gracious, and a fun host who evokes a pride of Lisbon you can only feel from a lifelong local, that he is. We have since toured with him 2 more times and sent numerous of our friends and family to do the same. I highly recommend booking a Tuk Tuk tour with Joao and do so early in your trip to set the foundation for the rest of your adventures in Lisbon.
